Horses

Sonja started breeding horses in Hvammur 2 more than 20 years ago. Today Sonja breeds horses under the breeding name Fornilækur. Fonilækur is a translation of Sonja´s hometown in Germany Altenbeken, which means old brook.

Our riding horses are well educated. They are all mostly ridden by ourselves. Some of them have been on the competition track even at Landsmót hestamanna.
